Questions
How do guests connect with the code?
They open the camera on an iPhone or Android phone, point it at the code and tap the notification. The phone joins the network without anyone typing the password.
Is my Wi-Fi password safe here?
Yes. The code is created in your browser and the password is never sent anywhere. Keep in mind that anyone who can see the printed code can join your network.
What if I change my Wi-Fi password?
The old code stops working because it contains the old password. Make a new code with the new password and print it again.
Which security type should I pick?
Almost every modern router uses WPA2 or WPA3, so leave it on WPA. Choose No password only for open networks.
