Writing: what to know
Writing tools are most useful at the edges of the job: fixing a draft you already have, adapting a text to a different audience, or keeping a team’s copy consistent.
They are least useful when asked to produce a whole article from nothing — the result reads generic and needs more editing than writing it yourself would have taken.
How to choose
- Give the tool your own draft; editing beats generating.
- Set a style guide or brand voice if the tool supports one, then reuse it everywhere.
- Translation still needs a human pass for anything a customer will see.
