What Pixabay is
Pixabay is the broadest of the three: alongside photos it has vector graphics, illustrations, video and a sound library, so a whole small project can come from one place with one licence to read.
The trade-off is consistency. Quality ranges from excellent to clearly amateur, and the filters matter more here than anywhere else — filter by media type and orientation before you start scrolling.

- Vectors and illustrations when you do not want a photo
- Background music and sound effects for a video
- Filling out a project that needs several media types at once
Worth knowing
- Quality varies a lot between contributors — judge each file, not the site.
