What makes a good URL slug?
Short, lowercase, words separated by hyphens and describing the page, like /qr-code-with-logo/. Leave out dates and filler words so the URL stays correct when you update the article.
Hyphens or underscores?
Hyphens. Google treats a hyphen as a space between words, while words joined by underscores can be read as one long word.
Should Cyrillic URLs be transliterated?
Usually yes. Cyrillic URLs work, but when copied they turn into long codes like %D0%BA%D0%B8. Transliterated slugs are easier to share and read. Ukrainian uses the official passport rules here.
