What Excalidraw is
Excalidraw draws everything as if sketched by hand, and that is a deliberate decision rather than a style choice: a wobbly box invites comments, while a polished one looks decided and shuts the discussion down.
It opens instantly, needs no login, and a link shares a live board. For an architecture sketch during a call it beats any real diagramming tool.
