Is it really free?
Yes, with no watermark and no sign-up. To keep it fair for everyone there is a limit of 20 images per hour per visitor.
What happens to my photo?
It is sent to the Holsha server, processed in memory by an open-source AI model (BiRefNet) and sent straight back. Nothing is saved or shared.
Which photos work best?
Photos where the subject is in focus and clearly separated from the background: people, products, pets, cars. Very fine hair, glass and smoke are the hardest parts and may need a touch-up.
What size is the result?
Up to 2048 pixels on the long side, as a PNG with a transparent background. You can also download it on white or any color you choose.
