Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are processed by your browser on your device, so private photos stay private.
Which format should I choose?
WebP gives the smallest files and works in every modern browser. JPEG is the safe choice for email and older software. PNG keeps transparency but files are larger.
What quality setting is best?
Around 75–82% is hard to tell apart from the original for photos. Go lower for thumbnails, higher for images with fine text.
